Wind direction sensor

The wind direction sensor determines which side of the building is facing the wind and which is facing away from the wind. In combination with a wind sensor, it can then be determined which sun shading products need to be protected from wind or storm. The direction from which the wind is coming can also be displayed.

Function description

The wind direction sensor is used to support the regular wind sensor and refines its functions. By using a wind direction sensor, the sun protection on the side facing away from the wind can be raised later than the systems on the side facing towards the wind.

Based on the information from the wind direction sensor, the sunshade moves even more precisely according to the weather conditions. In combination with the wind strength, an exact evaluation is possible. The heated wind direction sensor is also a reliable partner when it comes to shading in rain or ice.
