The group distributor serves as an interface between central units and control units. This makes simpler operation possible. For example, it is no longer necessary to press each roller shutter individually on a button, but four roller shutters can be operated on one button. High comfort with little effort. The device is also known as storey control.

Function description

The GD 4gang 24/24 serves as an interface between central units and the downstream control units. Up to four groups can be formed. A group has a central input, an enabling contact for group switches and an output for the control units. The groups are separated from each other. The central inputs are superordinate to the release contact for the group switches.

The central inputs operate the outputs as long as a signal is present. The enable contact for group switches allows a switch for the respective group to be connected to the output. As long as there is no signal from the central unit, the enable contact is closed and the group switch can be operated.

The signal from the group switch is present as long as the switch is pressed or engaged. If a signal is received from the control unit, the enable contact is interrupted and the switch can no longer be operated. If more than four groups are to be formed, several group distributors can be connected in parallel.
